Daniele Di Lodovico – Lecture in Art History

 

Daniele Di Lodovico grew up in Italy, and is currently living in United States. Graduated in 2003 from the University of Perugia with a dissertation on Medieval Art. In 2005 he started a project called “Suitcase” a contemporary art exhibition that traveled in U.S., Italy, Israel, Belgium, Germany, Poland and Denmark, and included more than 100 artists from ten different countries. In 2006 he started his Masters Degree in Italian Studies in the University of Washington (Seattle). He also has a Ph.D at the University of Washington, with emphases in Medieval and Renaissance art.

 

Currently, he is working on finishing his Doctoral Dissertation revising the relationship of sculpture and painting between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance in the devotional context of the period.
