Unleash Your Creativity Upon the World – Aeron Bergman and Alejandra Salinas
Aeron Bergman (Detroit, USA) and Alejandra Salinas (La Rioja, Spain) are an artist duo who have lived in New York, Toronto, Detroit, London, Barcelona, Gothenburg, Oslo and currently live in Seattle. Bergman and Salinas have shown work internationally at institutions such as 4th Athens Biennale; 1st Bergen Assembly Triennial; Turku Biennial, Finland; Fundação de Serralves, Porto; Steirischer Herbst, Graz; e-flux and Berlin Film Festival in Berlin, Center for Contemporary Art Glasgow, among many others. In experimental sound the pair won a top award in digital music at the Prix Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria in 2002 and they have been commissioned to produce sound works by institutions such as WDR West German radio and Swedish National Radio.
From 2011 to 2014 Bergman/Salinas founded and co-directed INCA, an artist run space and artist in residency in Detroit, USA. In 2013 they founded INCA Seattle, and in 2015 they founded INCA Press.
